Our Service Rates for Counselling now offering a sliding scale from $45 per session, $150 for a Counselling Associate to $175 for a Clinical Supervisor per clinical hour. These rates are dependent on the level of certification of our counsellors, and the type of counselling being offered. Our parent coaching or services with legal involvement starts at $250 per hour. Parenting Coordination services start at $280 per hour. Services require GST to be added. Please refer to the chart below to see a more detailed summary of our rates.

Counselling sessions are usually covered by most extended health benefit plans through your workplace benefit coverage. We support First Nations Health counselling, Crime Victims Assistance counselling, and other government-assisted counselling contracts.

It is important to check with your health plan insurer to determine whether they will cover “Clinical Counsellors” or “Registered Counsellors” with a Master’s degree in a Psychology discipline. Insurance plans differ significantly, so it is your responsibility to ensure that you will be reimbursed by your plan before claiming your counselling sessions. Counsellors, typically, will not direct bill to your benefits provider. If your benefits do not extend to clinical counsellors, we may be able to arrange you seeing a registered social worker. Counselling is considered a claimable medical expense through Revenue Canada health deductions.
