Our experienced team is dedicated to providing support for families in need, offering specialized services to address various relationship difficulties. With our team-based, wrap-around approach, we ensure a comprehensive response to challenging family circumstances.
Here are some of the family counselling situations we commonly work with:

  • Divorce and Separation: Assisting families in navigating the challenges associated with divorce or separation.
  • Co-Parenting Difficulties: Providing guidance and support to parents striving for effective co-parenting strategies.
  • Blended Family Adjustment Challenges: Helping blended families navigate the unique dynamics and adjustments that come with merging households.
  • Child Protection Involvement: Offering support and resources for families involved in child protection services.
  • Relationship Enhancement and Peaceful Uncoupling: Assisting couples who seek to improve their relationship or separate amicably.
  • Parent-Child and Teen Conflict: Addressing conflicts and improving communication between parents and their children or teenagers.
  • Court-Ordered Family and Child Counselling: Supporting families with court-ordered counselling to facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Parent Coaching: Providing guidance and coaching for parents seeking to enhance their parenting skills.
  • Adoption Support: Assisting families throughout the adoption process and providing support during the transition period.
  • Parent-Child Contact Problems: Addressing issues of alienation or estrangement and working towards reestablishing healthy parent-child relationships.
  • Adult Family Matters: Offering counselling services to address conflicts and challenges within adult family relationships.
  • Parenting Coordination: Lurline Raposo is a member of BC Parenting Coordinators Roster. This dispute resolution process involves first consensus building and then if consensus cannot be found, moving through a decision making process that is binding. It is a long-term, child-centred process for parents who already have a court order or written parenting agreement or plan but still find themselves in conflict about those issues.

Keeping children at the heart of coparenting.

As Child, youth, and family counsellors, we are deeply committed to helping parents respond to the developmental needs of their children and youth. We recognize that children’s well-being often takes a backseat during parental struggles or conflicts. Our goal is to empower parents and guide them in nurturing the healthy growth of their children.

Each of our counsellors brings a strong background in Child and youth development, combined with a relational attachment lens. This unique perspective enables us to provide comprehensive and empathetic support to families in need.
